The Position:

IT ServiceNow Developer II (CRM)

The IT ServiceNow Developer II (CRM) supports the configuration, customization, and ongoing enhancement of ServiceNow CRM/CPQ solutions. This role focuses on assisting with development activities, implementing workflows, supporting integrations, and providing operational support. The developer works closely with senior team members, architects, and cross‑functional partners to deliver reliable and scalable CRM solutions while continuing to build expertise in ServiceNow best practices.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in project planning and effort estimation.

  • Contribute to technical strategies and solution approaches aligned with enterprise goals.

  • Assist in configuring ServiceNow CRM/CPQ modules including Leads, Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts under guidance.

  • Support data imports, updates, and maintenance using import sets and transform maps.

  • Design and implement new features with direction from senior developers.

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on development, testing, and deployment activities.

  • Take ownership of assigned modules or components.

  • Create and maintain CRM reports and dashboards.

  • Participate in testing activities, document results, and support release activities.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve CRM‑related issues, escalating when appropriate.

  • Analyze application performance and assist with issue resolution.

  • Develop and maintain technical and support documentation.

  • Assist with user training, communications, and day‑to‑day operational support.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.

  • Contribute to code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.


Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of the ServiceNow platform, with exposure to CRM/CPQ modules.

  • Experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript) and Glide APIs.

  • Knowledge of workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts.

  • Understanding of data imports, transform maps, and data management concepts.

  • Ability to follow and apply ServiceNow development best practices.

  • Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of overall IT experience, including at least 1 year of ServiceNow development experience.

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred.

  • Exposure to CRM or CPQ solutions is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
